This beautiful walk level so it can feel easy for Alaska standards and for its length. A great choice for those who want a longer walk without a lot of elevation gain or rugged terrain. It is partially paved and can be accessed by road bikes for most of its length. Expect multiple spectacular views of glaciers, side waterfalls, wildflowers, and lakes. Most of the trail is wide enough to walk side by side. You can find some solitude on this trail, even though it is close to the Anchorage area. It is also close to campsites and includes options for extending the trail or making it shorter.
