The Wildbirch Hotel

Experience Anchorage’s newest boutique hotel, part of the JdV by Hyatt collection known for vibrant, neighborhood-inspired stays. The Wildbirch Hotel brings that spirit to the heart of downtown with modern design, local artistry, and views that stretch from Cook Inlet to the Chugach Mountains and, on clear days, Denali and Mount Susitna. With 5,200 square feet of event space, stylish guest rooms, and a location steps from dining, shopping, and the Coastal Trail, the property creates an energizing base for meetings and events.

Select from flexible spaces built to support everything from corporate retreats to large presentations, ranging from the (smaller) intimate Susitna River Boardroom to the 2,620 square feet Kenai River Ballroom. Additional spaces including the open-air Kenai River Terrace and the Yukon River Conference Room, offer versatile options for receptions, training, and banquets.

Support smooth program flow with multiple food and beverage options on the lobby level. Crimson, the marquee restaurant and bar, delivers creative cuisine and an inviting setting for hosted meals. Undertap, the hotel’s brewery, pours exclusive craft beers and provides a relaxed spot for tastings, networking, or small group sessions. Canteen, the hotel’s café and retail shop, offers specialty coffee, artisan pastries, and locally sourced artwork and gifts. Paired with full-service catering, these spaces give planners flexibility for breaks, receptions, and social events.

The hotel features 252 design-driven rooms and suites with local art, warm finishes, and thoughtful touches such as retro mini fridges, espresso makers, premium toiletries, high speed Wi Fi, and digital check in. Guests can also take advantage of fitness facilities, EV charging, business services, concierge support, and pet friendly rooms to create a comfortable stay for all attendees.

The Wildbirch places groups in the center of downtown Anchorage, within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, cultural attractions, and the city’s expansive trail system. Its central setting simplifies logistics, supports off-site activities, and gives attendees access to some of the most striking views in the region, from the Port of Alaska to the surrounding mountain ranges.
