New Year's Eve

Ring in New Year's in Anchorage. It's been a year like few others, and this year's celebrations are a little different. But with a little planning, Anchorage, Alaska, is the place to be to welcome 2021.

New Year's Events in Anchorage

After sunset, celebrate with New Year’s Eve festivities. This year's fireworks display features live music from local favorites H3. It will be streamed on social media by Anchorage Downtown Partnership, with audio also available on the radio from KONR 106.1. Listen from your car, or from an outdoor vantage point around town. Make sure to allow for plenty of physical distance to ensure a safe, fun night for everyone. The show begins at 7 p.m. with fireworks at 8:30 p.m. and a final performance from H3 until 9 p.m.

You could also offset any evening indulgences by starting the year running. Skinny Raven is replacing their typical Northern Lights Resolution Run with a month-long virtual challenge in January. Watch for more details soon.
