Report to the Community
Catch a recap of Visit Anchorage’s recent work and a preview of the year ahead with the annual Report to the Community. Held annually in January or February, it’s a chance to hear directly from Visit Anchorage leadership in advance of the summer tourism season.
Traditionally hosted in the spring, the Seymour Awards is a gala-style event held to honor Alaska businesses’ extraordinary contributions to the Anchorage visitor industry and community as a whole.
Hosted in advance of the busy summer season, Visit Anchorage’s annual spring frontline tradeshow gives businesses an important opportunity to connect with local tour operators and share information with frontline workers — the first ones to welcome visitors when they arrive. The trade show can host more than 100 vendors, engaging with hundreds of local industry employees and frontline staff.
Holiday Open House
Spread a little holiday cheer with fellow members. This festive event brings together members for an open house at Visit Anchorage's office in Historic City Hall. The event features food, drink, desserts, and live music, and also features a charity drive for contributions to worthy community organizations.
