A local emergency order places temporary restrictions on indoor gatherings in Anchorage: Effective April 16, 2021, most indoor gatherings involving consumption of food or drink are limited to 25 people, and indoor gatherings without food or drink are limited to 35 people. Presentations and business meetings taking place in convention centers, large ballrooms, large banquet halls, or other large meeting spaces have higher caps, so long as 6 feet of distance is observed. Events in these venues involving consumption of food or drink are limited to 100 people. Gatherings without food or drink are capped at 140 people. Details available via the Municipality of Anchorage's COVID response page.
