Discover this 3.2-mile loop trail near Hillside neighborhood in Anchorage. This moderately challenging trail is popular for mountain biking, bird-watching, and cross-country skiing. When looping back around on this trail and parallel to Abbott Road, there are breaks in the trees that offer stunning views of the Chugach Mountains.

Dogs: Welcome, on a leash. Not allowed on the groomed trails during the winter.

Parking: All Chugach State Park trails require a day-use parking pass or parking decal. 

As with all trails in Alaska, hikers should be prepared, dress in layers, and bring plenty of water, snacks, sunscreen, a map of the area, bear spray, and a well-charged cell phone.
