The travel and tourism community honored 11 outstanding companies and individuals at the Seymour Awards, Visit Anchorage’s annual awards banquet for the industry. Awards were announced during an evening event on April 5, 2024, at the Dena’ina Center.
The Seymour Awards, named for Anchorage’s moose mascot, recognize annual and long-term achievements that improve the community, expand leisure time opportunities for visitors and residents, and generate more local benefits through tourism.
“Travel is a tremendous force for good. It drives economic and social benefits for residents, businesses, and visitors alike, said Visit Anchorage President & CEO Julie Saupe. “Everyone of us in this room has a hand in making our industry the dynamo it is. And tonight is a showcase of some of our brightest.”
The 2024 awards recognized 11 companies and individuals in 10 categories.
