Hotel demand was up 9% year over year for October, putting it above historical averages for the month. Occupancy for the month averaged 67%, staying higher than the same time last year and hinting at the return of meetings and conventions, a long-time driver of fall hotel demand in Anchorage.

ADR averaged $147 for the month, putting hotel revenue for the month above $25.2 million a rise of 26% from the same month in 2021. October 2022 is Anchorage's fifth most important month in terms of share of revenue, at least this year, contributing a slightly bigger share of overall revenue than in recent years.
