Anchorage is in the top 25 on Livability's best places to live in the Western United States. The list is based on more than 50 data points and examines 2,300 cities to narrow down the best places to live in the country.
Anchorage gets the nod for natural attributes like moose, salmon, and auroras, but also for the human elements of the community - as a hub for creatives and the arts in Alaska with plenty of built infrastructure, and yet light on traffic.
