The new year carried over good performance for Anchorage hotels, with continued strong showings in terms of occupancy, rate, demand, and revenue. January 2022 ranked as one of the better ones on record for this time of year, at least in terms of hotel revenue.

According to STR, January hotel demand was up 22% compared to the same month in 2021. ADR slipped slightly from December to $125/night, still strikingly higher the historical averages for the winter months. Revenue was $17.6 million.
