The Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) has announced it will hold its next meeting in Anchorage. The gathering of adventure travel-focused business leaders takes place in Anchorage Sept. 19-22, 2016. It’s the first time the group’s Adventure Travel World Summit has been held in North America.

Approximately 700 tour operators, adventure business owners and media are expected to attend, with many coming early or staying late for multi-day adventures in Alaska.

“ATTA members are coming to Alaska looking for Alaska product for their own clients.” said David Kasser, VP of Tourism Development and Sales. “And it’s a chance for Alaska tourism businesses to build their own offerings in a growing segment.”
