Alaska Craft Brew & Barley Wine Festival

Enjoy a flavor-packed weekend at the Alaska Craft Brew & Barley Wine Festival at the Dena’ina Center, Jan. 30-31, 2026. Whether you’re a hop-head or a barleywine buff, this is your chance to sip, savor, and discover some of Alaska’s best brews. With multiple tasting sessions, food pairings, and live music from local bands, the festival celebrates Alaska’s brewing scene.

St. Patrick’s Day

Raise a glass for St. Patrick’s Day, when Anchorage breweries, taprooms, and pubs get into the spirit with seasonal beers, Irish-inspired food, live music, and special events.

Beer in the Garden

Head to the Alaska Botanical Garden every first Thursday in September for craft beer and cider from more than a dozen local breweries. Sip among autumn foliage, seasonal blooms, and fall displays, with food vendors, live music, lawn games, and fire pits adding to the fun.

Oktoberfest Events

Raise a stein at one of several Oktoberfest celebrations happening around town each September. 49th State Brewing Co. hosts a popular celebration with traditional German beer, hearty food, live music, and plenty of festive fun, while Alyeska Resort in Girdwood brings its own Oktoberfest celebration to the mountains.

Alaska Crafted Festival

Celebrate Alaska’s craft beverage scene at the 10th annual Alaska Crafted, Nov. 5-6, 2026 at 49th State Brewing Co. in Anchorage. The two-day event brings together craft beverage makers from across the state, with the Alaska Beer Awards, an industry trade show, educational seminars, and the Alaska Crafted Festival featuring local pours and more.
