Alyeska Tramway - Alyeska Resort

Breathtaking glacier, mountain and water views. Take a scenic journey to 2,300 feet above sea level, find two mountain-top restaurants. Activities include hiking, sightseeing and Roundhouse Museum. The 60-passenger Alyeska Aerial Tram offers expansive views for guests of all ages. The scenic ride takes 3 to 5 minutes with plenty of opportunity to take in views and spot wildlife. Guided summer adventures are available from The Ascending Path including interpretative nature hikes, and for the more adventurous, Glacier Treks on Alyeska Glacier. The Upper Tram Terminal boasts an outdoor viewing deck, two restaurants and the community-supported Roundhouse Museum at Alyeska. The museum showcases the ski area heritage at the Resort. The two restaurants include Glacier Express Café serving halibut & chips, Reindeer sausage and hot soups; and Seven Glaciers Restaurant, AAA Four Diamond Award winner, offers dinner daily in the summer.
