Anchorage Airport

Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is more than just airlines in Anchorage and a gateway in and out of the city. It holds locally based restaurants and shops, Alaska Native arts displays, the Alaska Sports Hall of Fame, and a 1937 Fairchild 24G.

Anchorage Airport &
Airlines in Anchorage

Stepping off the plane in Anchorage, visitors rub their eyes and take a closer look at their watches. It’s 11 p.m., it’s still light outside and the airport is very busy. Locals would say it’s typical for summer at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.

Located just six miles from downtown Anchorage, transportation from the airport is convenient by taxi, hotel courtesy shuttles or People Mover bus. Upon arrival, stop by the Visit Anchorage Information Centers for assistance or directions.
