Turnagain Arm Trail: Rainbow Trailhead to Windy Corner Trailhead

Experience this local favorite trail, just south of Anchorage. A 3.8-mile moderately challenging trail with stunning views of Turnagain Arm. Keep an eye out for Dall Sheep climbing along the rocky terrain.

Dogs: Welcome, must be on a leash.

Parking: All Chugach State Park trails require a day-use parking pass or parking decal. 

As with all trails in Alaska, hikers should be prepared, dress in layers, and bring plenty of water, snacks, sunscreen, a map of the area, bear spray, and a well-charged cell phone.
