Mount Alyeska: North Face Trail

This moderately challenging route is located near Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska. It takes a little over 3 hours to complete. The Alyeska Aerial Tram also provides the option to take the tram down (no charge going down) the mountain as there are some steep areas on the return.

Dogs: Welcome, on a leash.

Parking: All Chugach State Park trails require a day-use parking pass or parking decal. 

As with all trails in Alaska, hikers should be prepared, dress in layers, and bring plenty of water, snacks, sunscreen, a map of the area, bear spray, and a well-charged cell phone.
