Turnagain View Lodge
Turnagain View Lodge is a 'Roadside Adventure Lodge' located 30 minutes south of the Ted Steven's Anchorage International Airport, yet with the wilderness all around, it feels very remote! This beautifully, hand crafted three story log home has a wrap around deck, a groomed lawn, a pond, and a fire pit. Each floor has a bedroom and bathroom exclusively for your group, accommodating up to 12 family members or friends; featuring one King, three Queens and four Singles. Consider using the lodge as home base for day tripping to glacier cruises, wildlife viewing, whale watching, or flight seeing from Anchorage to North America's tallest mountain peak, Denali. There are many fun adventures close by, ATV tours, dog mushing, fishing, gold panning, horseback riding, hiking, biking, kayaking, and kite surfing. A great spot for family vacations, destination weddings, hosting private parties, and other life celebrations. Turnagain View Lodge and Indian Valley Mine are located at Mile 104, Seward Highway. Both the Lodge and the Gold Mine are family owned and operated by Roger & Arlene Cowles. Keep your eyes open and don't blink, you might miss the turn! We look forward to meeting you.
