Paint A Scarf Alaska
Paint the northern lights on a silk scarf. It’s easy - no artistic skill needed. Come to the log cabin home of Alaskan artist Gina Murrow. She’ll teach you how to create an original piece of wearable Alaskan art to take home. Even if you can’t draw a stick figure, our proven method makes silk painting easy and fun. Gina has helped thousands of non-artists create beautiful scarves to keep as a souvenir or give as a gift. On sunny days we paint on the deck overlooking the creek. When it’s chilly we paint indoors next to the soaring rock fireplace. Either way you go home with a scarf to wear — and happy memories to share. Finish your experience with a tour of the artist’s loft or dip your toes in our glacier-fed creek. One low price includes your silk scarf, supplies, instruction, refreshments, and loft tour. Allow three hours. Great for families and friends to enjoy together. Paint a Scarf also offers painting sessions at local bars and restaurants from September through May. Check our web site for dates and times.
