Alaska Trail Guides
Our passionate and professional guides are committed to sharing an Alaskan experience with you! Join us for a biking adventure - all gear included! We provide round-trip transportation, bikes, helmets, biking gloves, waterproof jacket and pants, and snacks (lunch for full day trips). Join us on an interpretive bike ride along Anchorage’s Coastal Trail beginning at Kincaid Park and ending in downtown Anchorage. Learn about the history of Anchorage, including the Good Friday Earthquake, and get a chance to see munchin' moose, soaring bald eagles and more. Great for the family! This is a leisurely bike ride totaling 9.5 miles in two hours. Looking for a little more? Add a stop at Resolution Brewing Co. for samples. Looking for a full day of fun? Enjoy a breathtaking trip from downtown Anchorage out the Turnagain Arm to Girdwood. Bike “Bird to Gird”, a paved bike path totaling 12 miles along the Turnagain Arm offering beautiful Alaskan scenery where the coast meets the mountains and wildlife is waiting to be spotted. Choose from lunch at 2,100 feet from the top of the Alyeska Tram or at the Wildlife Conservation Center. When the snow starts falling we swap out our hybrid bikes for fat tire bikes! Alaska is a winter wonderland and biking is one of the best ways to experience it. Your local guide will introduce you to the fat bike phenomenon and pedal power over winter landscapes! Find solitude as the snow-covered miles roll under wide tires and through the woods. Choose from several adventures: In Anchorage, explore some of the 150 miles of biking trails and sample our craft brewery scene. Or, head north to Willow and pedal on part of the Iditarod Trail then meet a dog sledding team. Ride the Alaska Railroad back to Anchorage after seeing Denali from the historic town of Talkeetna.
