Alaska Farm Tours
Explore Farming on The Last Frontier! Begin your educational and experiential Alaska farm tour visiting the Palmer Grow program highlighting urban agriculture in Alaska. From there explore the gardens of the Palmer Art Museum and Historical Center learning about the variety of plants grown in Alaska’s fertile soils. From there, tour participants will visit three farms chosen as examples of Alaska’s rich, diverse agriculture from elk ranching to organic farming. The tour will include a brown bag lunch at one of the beautiful vista farms. As we have a revolving roster of farms, the farms you will visit will be announced the day of the tour. Alaska Farm tour times, dates, and location tours are available Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. There are two four hour tours scheduled each of those days. The morning tour runs 9AM-1PM, the afternoon tour runs 2PM-6PM. The tour meets at 1509 S. Georgeson Rd Palmer AK, 99645, where there is ample parking and our tour van will depart from.
