Alaska Chamber
"The voice of Alaska business." The Alaska Chamber advocates for businesses from Ketchikan to Barrow with the mission to promote a positive business environment in Alaska. The "All Alaska" Chamber of Commerce was formed in 1952, prior to Alaska being granted statehood, for the purpose of promoting commerce in Alaska. Alaska’s business leaders recognized the need for an organized effort to develop a strong economic base for Alaska. With statehood, the name was changed to the Alaska State Chamber of Commerce, and the organization represented the first unified effort to have the voice of business in the state legislature. Today that unified voice is comprised of small and large businesses from every corner of the state and representing all industries. The Alaska Chamber continues to be heard and have an impact in Juneau and throughout Alaska.
