A Loons Nest Bed & Breakfast
A Loon’s Nest Bed and Breakfast is poised on a bluff overlooking Westchester Lagoon, a local park with a view of the skyline of downtown Anchorage, and the Alaska Range Denali National Park. The house was built using one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s designs and remodeled in 1998. Two warm and cozy rooms are available with shaker type furniture. Each room is wheelchair accessible and has extra-long twin beds that can be converted to a king size bed. The Bird Room includes a private entrance and attached bathroom/whirlpool. The Alaska Room has a designated private bathroom/whirlpool. The B&B is located seven minutes away from the airport, and five minutes from downtown and the Alaska Railroad. We are located closed to bus transportation and the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail can be accessed one block away. John, your host, has a background in data processing, commercial fishing, mining and prospecting. Your hostess, Mary Anne, is a life-long resident and retired secondary school teacher.
