Stone Sour

Described as a cross between Metallica and Alice in Chains, these Iowa-based rockers have made a name for themselves over their nearly 30-year career with a pair of Gold-selling albums, three Grammy nominations, and songs including the hit single “Through Glass” and “Bother,” which was featured on the Spider-Man soundtrack.

Their 2002 self-titled debut earned the band two Grammy nominations and was RIAA-certified Gold. In 2006, their second album Come What(ever) May hit number four on the Billboard chart and featured the hit single, “Through Glass.” Their third album, Audio Secrecy, was released in 2010.

In 2012, the group released House of Gold & Bones, Pt. 1., with Pt. 2 being released the following year. Stone Sour’s two covers EPs, Meanwhile in Burbank and Straight Outta Burbank, came out in 2015. The band’s sixth full-length album, Hydrograd, was released last year.

The group currently consists of Corey Taylor (lead vocals, guitar), Josh Rand (guitar), Roy Mayorga (drums), Christian Martucci (guitar) and Johny Chow (bass).
