Public Lands Walking Tour

Discover and connect to your Alaska public lands with a National Park Service ranger as you walk through downtown Anchorage on the free Public Lands Walking Tour. This stops at a few statues where a Ranger will discuss the special culture in Alaska, a few unique animals that reside here, the history of our public lands and end the tour at a beautiful look out of the Cook Inlet.

Tours run daily during the summer season and last approximately 45 minutes. Be prepared to be outside the whole time.

Tour groups meet and leave from the front steps of the Alaska Public Lands Information Center. They will leave promptly at the scheduled time, you do not need to come inside beforehand.
