Run in a race to end homelessness! Join us Saturday, September 22nd for the annual Oktoberfest- Run to End Homelessness. You’ll be supporting a great cause, hosted by the Anchorage Running Club, while having lots of fun with other runners. The course will go out-and-back, beginning on 2nd Avenue outside of 49th Street Brewing Company. You’ll run down the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, hit the turnaround point, and head back.
All profits from the race will be donated to our Brother Francis Shelter as well as to Bean’s Café.
You can register for either a 5K or 10k race, and race entry fees are $30 for members and $35 for non-members. They are non-refundable. Last year, in 2017, The Run to End Homelessness allowed the Anchorage Running Club – along with your help – to donate $6,600 to each charity.
On race day, registration and meet time starts at 7:30 a.m. You will be able to do same-day registration and bib-pickup for runners who have not been able to register on line. You will also be able to donate food and clothes at the race headquarters.
