Join Alzheimer's Resource Alaska for a heartwarming afternoon of music, community, and connection.

The Forget Me Not Chorus is a dementia friendly community choir that brings together individuals living with dementia, their care partners, and community members of all backgrounds and abilities. Through music, participants build friendships, find joy in singing, and create meaningful connections in a welcoming environment where everyone belongs.

What makes this chorus so special is that you often can't tell who is living with dementia, who is a care partner, and who simply loves to sing. And that's the beauty of it. Music brings everyone together, allowing those distinctions to fade away and the joy of connection to take center stage.

Throughout the season, chorus members have gathered to sing, laugh, learn, and build community. This final concert is an opportunity to celebrate their hard work, the friendships they've formed, and the incredible power of music to connect us beyond memory.

Last year, more than 200 people gathered to celebrate over 50 singers from all walks of life, filling the room with music, love, and unforgettable moments.

We invite you, your family, and your friends to experience this special celebration with us. Whether you know someone in the chorus or simply want to support a community where everyone has a voice, we'd love to see you there! Come for the music. Leave with a little more joy in your heart.

This program is made possible through the generous support of the Atwood Foundation and the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority, in partnership with the Giving Voice Initiative and the Anchorage Senior Activity Center.
