Anchorage Design Week brings together designers and the public for a week of discussions, workshops and events.

Design Week is Anchorage’s annual design festival and is organized by the Anchorage Museum. From architecture to fashion, furniture to food, Design Week features the best of the local design scene alongside international perspectives. This year Design Week is paired with SEED Lab and explores possible futures through design. The week includes keynotes and talks, workshops and weekend socials, creating a design community across the North with acclaimed designers, leading local design thinkers and the next generation of design with programs for all ages. A series of site-specific installations on the Museum lawn and across the city, led by Canadian artist/designer Tiffany-Shaw Collinge and Anchorage-based community project teams, will be unveiled. The Alaska AIA (American Institute of Architects) Convention, hosted by the museum, is also taking place during Design Week. For more information, schedule and tickets, visit
