Photographer Carl Johnson new award-winning book is about life and livelihood of Alaska's Bristol Bay. He will share photos and perspectives of commercial, recreational, and subsistence users, as well as the science of the area and the various factors that contribute to the vitality of the Bristol Bay salmon fishery. He also explores the history of mineral development in the region and the grassroots activism that has sprung up to fight the development of the Pebble Mine.
