Ravn Alaska adds two new Cessna Caravans to its Bethel aircraft fleet, operated by Ravn Connect/Hageland Aviation, increasing the total number of aircraft to 15 which support daily scheduled and chartering flights to and from Bethel and the surrounding communities. The two new aircraft include state of the art avionics, improved de-icing systems and along with all the Bethel aircraft will adhere to the Ravn Connect/Hageland Safety Operational Control Center procedures. The center’s experienced controller and the pilot must agree that the flight is safe to operate from takeoff to landing.

As the State of Alaska’s largest commuter air carrier, Hageland Aviation recently was awarded all five Cornerstone “Safety” Stars of the Medallion Foundation, and has applied for the Medallion Shield, the foundations highest safety aviation award.
