How Members Can Be Involved in the Golden Age Games

The National Veterans Golden Age Games (NVGAG) provide eligible senior Veterans with the opportunity to engage in rehabilitative sport and recreation competition. The Games are the premier senior adaptive rehabilitation program in the United States, presented each year by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Sports include: air pistol, air rifle, badminton, basketball, blind disc golf, boccia, bowling, cycling, field, golf, horseshoes, nine ball, pickleball, power walk, shuffleboard, swimming, table tennis and track. June 5-10 more than 800 men and women who have worn the uniform of the United States of America and defended our country with honor and dignity will compete, right here in Anchorage!

Volunteer at the Event

Be the first to welcome visitors to Anchorage as their baggage handler or hospitality greeter. Have a passion for nine ball, bowling, or javelin? Consider volunteering for those events. With a diverse array of volunteer positions, you're sure to find a fulfilling way to participate.

Health and Wellness Expo

Exhibit your services at the Health and Wellness Expo. Thursday, June 6 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Egan Civic & Convention Center, the Health and Wellness Expo will promote the message of “Fitness for Life” to approximately 800 senior American Veterans.
