The final full month of the busy 2019 summer season added more gains compared to the previous year. Hotel demand remained strong for the month, up 4% year over year. Occupancy held strong at 91% for the month, the third straight month with average occupancy above 90%. ADR rose 6% compared to August 2018. Hotel revenue topped $46.5 million, ensuring the season's position as one of the best for Anchorage.
