On Sept. 20, 2016, the Alaska Native Heritage Center welcomes indigenous tourism businesses and organizations from around the globe to Anchorage for a special event. From 9 a.m. to noon, Alaskans involved in community-focused tourism will be joined by others visiting Anchorage as part of the Adventure Travel World Summit. The gathering is open to all involved or interested in Alaska Native tourism and other indigenous tourism.

Following on the heels of this gathering, there will be a panel discussion from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on the topic of Developing Partnerships with Indigenous Operators & Communities at the Dena’ina Civic & Convention Center. The panel is part of the Adventure Travel World Summit.

Free registration is required for both gatherings, and space is limited to 100 seats. Review the full schedule of events and register at the event website.
