AKontheGO Partners with Alaska Airlines and Anchorage Airport

Wednesday, April 20, 2016

AKontheGO is pleased to announce a partnership with Alaska Airlines and Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport for a new project called "Read on the Fly," creating six areas within the airport for children to read. Designed in a similar format to the "Little Free Libraries," Read on the Fly is intended to promote and encourage reading by kids traveling through the Anchorage, with a long term goal to install reading spaces in every Alaska airport. The project will officially launch in early June, 2016, but books for children age 0-16 are being collected on an ongoing basis. Donation stations are set up at Alaska Center for Pediatrics or the Alaska Travel Industry Association offices. For more information, please visit or email
