AKontheGO is pleased to announce a partnership with Alaska Airlines and Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport for a new project called "Read on the Fly," creating six areas within the airport for children to read. Designed in a similar format to the "Little Free Libraries," Read on the Fly is intended to promote and encourage reading by kids traveling through the Anchorage, with a long term goal to install reading spaces in every Alaska airport. The project will officially launch in early June, 2016, but books for children age 0-16 are being collected on an ongoing basis. Donation stations are set up at Alaska Center for Pediatrics or the Alaska Travel Industry Association offices.
