Bio: Flash in the Pan is a study of the fragile properties of glass transformed into a glittering mosaic hovering over a frying pan. Hundreds of pieces of grouted mirrored glass give a fractured view of the salmon’s surroundings, as colors reflect off the body. The sister team of Elizabeth Beguinet and Elsie LeDoux have been collaborating on projects since they were 5 and 7 years old. The sisters worked on their creation during the course of six days, the equivalent working time of 41 music CDs.
