Bio: It was a near miss for this fish! The reflection in Escapee has a fishing boat on its tail literally depicting the “one that got away.” Artist Terri Jo Hedman used abalone to construct the salmon’s eyes and paint hues of red, green, and silver were used overall. The salmon took two months to complete. Hedman earned her bachelors degree in interior design and a minor in studio art from University of Minnesota. Her mediums are paint and print.
