Bio: Salmonenchanted Evening was created to capture the sparkle and orchestrated movements of live salmon as they swirl and dance their way up the river. Artist Jona Van Zyle wrapped her fish in layers of leather and suede then applied the intricate beadwork. Van Zyle attended the Cleveland Institute of Art and Kent State University in Ohio while earning her degree in textile art.
