The leader of Iditarod Trail tours since 1994, Sky Trekking Alaska offers three, four and 12 day trail trips. Featured is the epic “Expedition Trek” following the entire race from Anchorage to Nome. Lodging, meals and ski plane transportation are included as well as guided side trips to mush dogs, snowmobile and see the insights of remote Alaska. Choose from three great Iditarod adventure itineraries:

• Iditarod Start Trek, based in Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley, 4 days/4 nights, begins the first Saturday in March

  The excitement of the start, a sampling of dog mushing, winter sports and Alaska hospitality.

• Iditarod Expedition Trek, following the entire race from Anchorage to Nome, 12 days/12 nights beginning the first Saturday in March. See numerous checkpoints and villages, visit with the musher along the way and see the real Alaska

• Iditarod Winners Trek, based in Nome,3 days/4 nights at the finish of the Race,

  Watch the race finish in historic Nome and experience the Eskimo culture of the Bering Straights coast.
