Alaska Aviation Museum

Capacity: 200. Available May-September after 5 p.m.; October-April, weekdays, and weekends after 5 p.m. Multimedia available. Outdoor area also available on Lake Hood for summer events. Select caterer of your choice or cater the event yourself.

Alaska Center for the Performing Arts

The Alaska Center for the Performing Arts is linked to the Egan Center by a sky bridge that crosses Fifth Avenue in downtown Anchorage. The three theaters of the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts are perfect for receptions, general sessions and technical presentations. The 2,100 seat Evangeline Atwood Concert Hall, 700 seat Discovery Theatre and the 350 seat Sydney Laurence Theatre and the center’s multilevel lobby offer plenty of flexibility for the imaginative meeting planner.

Alaska Native Heritage Center

Capacity: 700. A/V, on-site catering and entertainment by Alaska Native artists and performers available.

Anchorage Museum

A world-class facility located in the heart of Alaska’s largest city, the Anchorage Museum is the largest museum in the state. The galleries filled with splendid objects of Alaska's past and present can be open after hours, and programs can take place in the fully equipped auditorium or the atrium. The atrium is one of Anchorage's most popular gathering places and provides a magnificent ambiance for special events. Luncheons, receptions, or formal dining can be planned for groups of 50 to 500 with the assistance of the Museum's professional staff.

The Anchorage Museum is conveniently located in downtown Anchorage within walking distance to major hotel and shopping facilities. The setting is ideal for meetings, receptions and formal dining.

Auditorium: Fully equipped, seats 231
MUSE Restaurant: 100. The hip, new restaurant offers a metropolitan setting for sophisticated events. 
Brian E. Davies Chugach Gallery: 100 reception; 60 seated. Breathtaking views and an urban, chic atmosphere. Exclusive rental with limited availability.

Parking
The Museum offers an underground parking garage for a minimal fee with approximately 75-car capacity. Street parking available.

Sullivan Arena

The Sullivan Arena is a world-class sport facility designed to be versatile and functional with the capability to accommodate:

  • Indoor sporting events
  • Special events
  • Trade shows
  • Exhibits
  • Concerts
  • Large meetings

The arena has an Olympic-size ice rink, with an insulated floor covering for basketball, concerts and trade shows. Total square footage with all telescoping seats retracted is approximately 32,000 square feet. The facility holds 220 trade show booths with concert seating for 8,700. Located approximately two miles from downtown Anchorage. Olympic-sized ice sheet; insulated floor covering for basketball, concerts & trade shows.

Staging
Maximum 40x54 feet including two 16x16-foot sound wings (2,400 sq. ft. SICO stage). Height varies from 4 to 6 feet, 5-foot crowd barrier.

Show Power
Concert: Two 400-amp three-phase system and one 200-amp three-phase system; Trade Show: Two 400-amp three-phase systems for floor distribution. Main disconnect located 125 feet from east of (stage) end on arena floor. 4-way ASI scoreboard with full graphics capabilities.

House Lighting
Main arena supplied by pattern of 1,000-watt metal halide fixtures suspended from the roof structure. Uniform intensity of 100-150 foot candles on the main floor. Additional lighting will provide 750 f.c. over boxing/wrestling ring. Spot lighting includes eight Xenon Super Troupers.

Sound
Arena ceiling cluster of high and low frequency speaker units. Control area contains AM/FM tuners, tape deck, microphone inputs; amps and equalizers. Microphone jacks throughout facility.

Loading/Unloading
Service drive entrance on east side of facility: 16x18-foot, 5-inch doors. Limited parking available for equipment vehicles outside the service entrance.

Dressing Rooms
Five locker rooms, various sizes. Locker room configurations can accommodate multiteam events, tournaments or other events. Separate dressing rooms available for officials and performers, as applicable.

Equipment Rental
The arena has forklifts, manlifts, chain hoists, and spotlights for rent.

Box Office Services
Ticketmaster ticketing system; Sullivan Arena Box Office, online at www.ticketmaster.com and Fred Meyer Ticketmaster outlets in the Anchorage area; Charge-by-phone at 562-4800 using Visa, Mastercard, or American Express; Municipal surcharge: Tickets $10 or less = $1.00, Tickets $10.01 and more = $1.50; Sullivan Arena service charges: Tickets $10 or less = $3.25, Tickets $10.01 – 15.00 = $3.50, tickets $15.01 – 20.00 = $4.25, Tickets $20.01 – 30.00 = $5, Tickets $30.01 – 40.00 = $5.50, $40.01 – 50.00 = $6.25, Tickets $50.01 – 60.00 = $7.00, Tickets $60.1 and more = TBD.

Parking Operations
1,300 parking spaces, patron cost: $6.00; parking lot may be purchased for $2,000; limited number of complimentary parking passes available to tenants.

Security, Ushering & First Aid Services
Provided by Arena at additional charge.

Fee Schedule
Building Rental: ticketed events - $2,500 or 10% of gross tickets sales; multiple show events - negotiable; trade/flat shows - $4,000/day or $.22/square foot.
Move In/Out Charges: $2,000/day plus pass-through labor costs.
Minimum Rent Deposit: $2,500/day
Box Office Charges: 3% of gross, $3,000 cap plus day of event ticket seller labor costs.
