Anchorage - The Place to Film in the Last Frontier

The parking lot at the mountain’s trailhead is a beehive of activity. Trucks, lights, cameras and people move quickly and efficiently. The sun has been up for hours. As a couple in the distance begins to walk down the path two cameras follow them. One might think this scene is being shot in remote wilderness, but it’s not. The cast and crew are just a 20 minute drive from downtown Anchorage. If they need equipment or parts that can’t be found nearby, it can arrive by plane in less than a day. Rugged wilderness, breathtaking landscapes and all the comforts of home can be found in Alaska’s largest city, Anchorage.
