Martin LaBlanc, Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Children and Nature Network, will speak on how parents can raise healthier kids by simply getting them exposed to nature and the outdoors. There will also be time to check out resource booths from organizations with outdoor opportunities for families around Anchorage. Make and take home your own trail mix and enter a raffle to win outdoor gear from REI. Free child care will be available.
