The 2009 Bear Paw Festival - Excali-Bear and the Knights of the Paw - is as family friendly as ever with free admission and events everyone can participate in.

Help build the Super Bear Duct Tape® Sculpture. Stop by add some tape and creative flare, and help name this year’s creation!

See the hilarious melodrama “Evil Escapades in Eagle River,” a reenactment of the early days in Eagle River, when men were men and villains wore capes and top hats. With a cast of outrageous characters, exciting chase scenes and a daring rescue, this is a show you won’t want to miss!

Join the “Around & Around the Round Table” Road Rally, an automobile tour of Eagle River and the surrounding countryside.

And on the main stage, Slippery Salmon Olympics. Teams of two will race against the clock for bragging rights and a very cool trophy. Just picture it - 18 hoops and a very slippery salmon. Throw in a glass of soda on a tray and you’ve got a race!
