Randy and Juanita Meier moved to Alaska as teachers. Like most Americans, they had goals of being able to retire someday and dreams of helping send their children to college. Teaching alone was not going to make their goals and dreams a reality. Having summers off, commercial fishing was the perfect match.
Ryan Meier(son) has followed in his parent’s footsteps as a teacher. This allows him to commit his time in the summer to help further develop the family business. His wife Adrienne(daughter-in-law) works along side him assisting in marketing and sales.
Mindy Meier(daughter) works with troubled kids during the off-season. During the summers she lends her expertise while running our retail store. Like the rest of the family, Mindy takes pride in the family business and wants to continue its success.
Nate(son-in-law) and Amy Berga(daughter) work for the family business full time. They are responsible for research, marketing and managing the office.
