Fly Denali, Inc.'s new offering: Denali Glacier landing from Anchorage. You often see tours advertised as "Once-In-A-Lifetime" and surely one tour that truly meets this hype is a airplane flight that includes a glacier landing on one of Denali Park's glaciers. Denali Park's Premier flying service now offers a 2.5 hour flight to Denali's Ruth Glacier or an alternate glacier at the pilot's discretion. Clients will deplane and spend 20-30 minutes on the glacier. Adults pay $499 plus $10 for a National Park Pass (or have a Annual Pass or Golden Age Pass). Complimentary van service is provided to most hotels and accommodations in the Anchorage area. Flights depart Lake Hood at 8:30 a.m., noon, 3:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. The season's first flight took place on 11 April and full service begins 1 May and continues through 30 September.
