Alyeska Resort Introduces Spring Break Fun Pass During 2004 Chevrolet U.S. Alpine Championships

Alyeska Resort is offering a further incentive to students planning on spending their spring break on the mountain. In addition to hosting 2004 Chevrolet U.S. Alpine Championships the resort has announced a discounted student lift pass, the Spring Break Fun Pass.

The Spring Break Fun Pass is available for children ages 8-13, high school students, and college students. The pass offers six days of skiing and/or snowboarding for the price of four and will be available during all Alaska school district spring breaks.

This spring break, Alyeska Resort will also be hosting the 2004 Chevrolet U.S. Alpine Championships, March 18-23. Free to the public, the Alpine Championships will feature the nation’s best alpine ski team members racing in the downhill, super giant slalom, slalom, and giant slalom.

“We have an action packed week scheduled and it should prove to be fun for the entire family. The spring skiing has been great and the mountain will be wide open! There will be something for everyone this spring break so bring the family down,” said Melissa Tyler, director of marketing for Alyeska Resort.

The Peter Glenn / Sierra Mist Ski and Ride Shuttle will be operating daily over the Anchorage School District Spring Break, March 19 – 28. This shuttle service offers round-trip transportation from the Northway Mall, Sears Mall, UAA Campus Center, and Peter Glenn to Alyeska Resort. Skiers and snowboarders are encouraged to call the SKI-SNOW hotline (907-754-7669) for the most accurate lift, weather, and trail conditions.
