Getting to Alaska by Sea

Photo

Whales breaching in the distance, porpoises swimming in adjacent to the ship, eagles soaring overhead are just a few sights cruise ship passengers can enjoy en route the famous Inside Passage to Southcentral Alaska.

Several cruise lines offer excursions May through September, docking in nearby Whittier, Seward, Homer and even Anchorage. Port cities are connected to Anchorage by road, air or rail. See cruise transfers between Anchorage and Seward or Whittier ports
