TURNAGAIN ARM

Board your shuttle for the guided drive from Anchorage along spectacular Turnagain Arm. From beginning to end there are dramatic views of mountain scenery and inlet waterways. There's a good chance of viewing Dahl sheep, as well as some chance of seeing some of Cook Inlet's 350 Beluga whales and an eagle or two.

PORTAGE GLACIER

Board the M/V Ptarmigan and view Alaska's most visited attraction the Portage Glacier. Take an unforgettable glacier cruise right up to the face of a glacier. Motor to within 300 feet of the mammoth wall of ice. Listen for the unmistakable rumbling of a calving glacier, waiting for the moment when a huge block of ice crashes into the lake.

At the 140-acre Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center you will see Black Bear, Brown Bear, Moose, Bison, Caribou and other spectacular animals up close.
