This is a list of ACVB’s annual publications for advertising consideration. Rate information will be distributed to members well ahead of deadlines.

Official Anchorage Visitors Guide


    The official, award-winning guide to Anchorage and the surrounding area. Its 128 perfectly bound pages are rich with full-color photography, engaging, descriptive editorial and sample itineraries, complemented by keyword search tools online and a complete trip-planning business directory of Anchorage Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) member businesses.

    Used by ACVB sales staff, 375,000 copies are distributed FREE statewide, nationally and internationally. Members receive a free 50-character description, but additional text and/or display advertising is available. Listing information and additional text is also displayed on ACVB’s Web site – www.Anchorage.net.

Friends of Seymour VFR Club

    Join the Club! ACVB unveils several new opportunities for members to reach this audience with its Friends of Seymour VFR Club. Highlights include two levels of sponsorship. Using a monthly e-newsletter, the year-round campaign will educate Alaskans about what the state has to offer, drive them to members’ VFR specials, and provide them Web-based trip planning tools.

Membership Directory

    A complete listing of Bureau members interspersed with display ads. This piece has two purposes: a quick reference guide that encourages members to contact and conduct business with other ACVB members; and a tool for meeting planners looking for the products and services members offer. Published annually.

Restaurant, Entertainment and Shopping Guide

    Published annually, it features all member restaurants and nightlife establishments. Members within those categories have the opportunities to include a display ad and/or menu guide. 50,000 copies distributed at convention registration tables, Visitor Information Centers, area hotels, and mailed to the travel trade.

Visitor Information Center Advertising Opportunities
