Event: Big Wild Life Trivia Contest – new date!

Typically in April, this event quizzes Anchorage middle school students about Anchorage geography, historical facts, weather, the positive economic impact of tourism, conventions, and maps of Southcentral Alaska. Prizes provides by ACVB members are added incentive with great exposure.

Event: "Reflections on Alaska" Membership Luncheon

Please join Willie Hensley for a fascinating presentation of Alaska history, the evolution of Alaska in the past 50 years and insights to the future. Hensley was a founder of the Northwest Alaska Native Association, helped establish Alaska Federation of Native (AFN) in 1966, spent twenty years with NANA Regional Corporation, ten years in the Alaska state legislature and recently published an award winning book.
Support "Kids Kitchen" by bringing a turkey or ham to the luncheon! When you're shopping for your holiday fixing don't forget to pick up an extra for a good cause.
