Ace of Cakes: Baked Alaska

ACVB along with the Alaska Travel Industry Association (ATIA) played host to Chef Duff Goldman of popular Food Network show Ace of Cakes in April 2009. Before presenting a cake for Alaska's 50th anniversary of statehood, Duff and crew experienced and filmed southcentral Alaska to obtain footage for the Ace of Cakes 7th-season opener debuting July 19, 2009. New York Post: Anchorage Solstice

ACVB and ATIA welcomed New York Post Travel Editor David Landsel to Anchorage in June 2009. Landsel spent six days experiencing the Big Wild Life™ in Anchorage, participating in festivals, cultural and adventure activities.
