U.S. Alpine Championships Schedule Resumes with Super G Races Beginning at 11 a.m. Today

GIRDWOOD, ALASKA – March 27, 2008 -- The Nature Valley U.S. Alpine Championships Super G races are slated to begin today. Women will compete at 11 a.m., followed by men at 2:30 p.m. Training runs and the downhill race were postponed earlier in the week due to a seasonal storm.

“Alyeska received more than 46 inches of snow at the summit since Tuesday. Currently, visibility and snow conditions are good and the course is set for competition,” said Jason Lott, Alyeska Resort director of sales and marketing.
